Consultation and Patient Intake

Overview of patient history to learn about any medications, allergies, or prior health conditions. This will give us a better understanding of how to help. Please come 15 minutes prior to your appointment to fill out forms if not done online.

Physical Exam

After the chiropractor reviews your paperwork, they’ll do an examination of the entire spine/extremities, and the doctor will concentrate on any specific area that is relevant to your pain. Please wear athletic or comfortable loose clothing, you will be moving and put in several different positions.

Treatment Plan

Every patient is unique, and their treatments are specifically tailored to their particular needs. While some may recover more quickly than others, each patient's amount of time spent in our office will vary. Your chiropractor will discuss with you how often you need to receive treatment. Following the treatment plan is crucial to your recovery. Treatments may be adjusted along the way, depending on if recovery is quicker or longer than expected.

First Chiropractic Adjustment

Patients should expect an adjustment same day as the examination unless otherwise notified by the chiropractor. Adjustments can be performed face down, sitting upright, laying on your side, or laying on your back while on the adjusting table (other modifications are available). The type of adjustment that you receive will be determined based upon your pain and injury condition (manual or instrument assisted). 

Follow up Chiropractic Treatment

The goal of chiropractic care is to alleviate your pain without the need for surgery or pain medications. Chiropractic care hopes to restore your body to its normal range of motion and function so you can return to your normal life.
